Even if we are all human beings, we often think that our ideas and opinions are influenced by the places where we were born, the words we listened to and that educated us, the difficulties and the opportunities that we have been offered during our growth and relationship exchanges.
For this reason we ask – and we ask only to those born and bred in Africa – to tell us what they think is ethical and sustainable in fashion. No longer ethical and sustainable fashion as defined and interpreted by anybody in the world, but ethical and sustainable fashion in the concept of those living in Africa and thinking about Africa.
We ask it in connection with fashion, because a dress or even a simple cloth may indicate what we think, what we do or do not care about. How we want to appear, or what we want to be.
Fashion intended as appearing but also as being.
We will be waiting for your ideas. We will elaborate them and we will share the results of this call that should show what you want or at least what you desire in respect of Ethical and Sustainable Fashion.
