97 Calories / The One-Per-Cent Solution

Once upon a time, a sick man was reading the label on a yogurt , rejoicing. 97 Calories

Let’s reflect on eating disorders.

  1. Words
  2. Emotions

100% perfect planning and execution, total control over burning calories. Hours of running or gyming, baggy sweatshirts to hide a skeletal appearance. Vomiting after meals. In the perpetual pursuit of perfection.

All this while entangled in a web of omnipresent lies.

Slowly dying in a glass bell jar, or rather, a glass coffin.

A solution can only come from inside the glass coffin, where silence, the drowning of emotions, and burning calories reign.

Self-destruction is fine, but it’s important to emphasize that the ultimate goal is the complete elimination of the body: saying NO to sugar/food is saying NO to life!

Sufferers are egosyntonic; everything written above makes perfect sense.

A bit like heroin addiction. But paradoxically, getting rid of the body is legal; you don’t need dealers to get your fix.

It’s a serious disease with complex causes. First, we need to eliminate the social stigma.

But how is it possible that some of those close to you don’t notice? Or society itself? Perhaps this very indifference is the other side of the coin? The dark side of the glass coffin? Is Invisibilty the new normal?

For those who do notice, aside from seeking the essential help of professionals (not charlatans), the advice is to address that 1% of silence. Maybe even just with a smile.

Once a crack appears in the glass coffin, perhaps the healing process can begin? Definitely! To start talking/communicating, loving youself and stop using the barcode scanner and the noise reduction headsets.

What if all these silences, after years of implosion, exploded in unison? It would be a marvelous symphonic chorus. A harmonious chaos.
