The Thinking Watermill Society is delighted to highlight the impactful Whatz Cooking initiative, which stems from a cooking tour in Masvingo province, Zimbabwe, in July 2024.
Led by Martin Christensson and Fezile Ncube, with the participation of CHEF COLA and other skilled chefs, this project is dedicated to enhancing everyday cooking in vulnerable communities.
Goal of the Initiative: Whatz Cooking seeks to inspire local communities by showcasing the potential of affordable, locally available and drought-resistant ingredients. The project emphasizes the creation of healthy, sustainable, and delicious meals that empower individuals to improve their diets while respecting the environment.
With sustainability at its core, the initiative is set to make a lasting impact by providing practical cooking solutions that can be easily adopted in communities facing food insecurity.
We believe in the power of food to bring change, and Whatz Cooking is helping to transform the way we approach nutrition in the face of climate challenges. Join us in supporting this incredible effort!
